Tonight on The National Stage...
Charlotte Perkins is delighted to be representing Wilsons and the Midlands Family Business Awards at the gala reception & ceremony for the Family Business of the Year Awards 2019 tonight.
The event will be held at the prestigious May Fair Hotel in London, where the regional and sector winners will be crowned together with the overall Family Business of the Year for 2019. Charlotte will present the trophy to the winner of the Retail category.
The Family Business of the Year Awards are organised by FBU are now in their seventh year, these awards recognise the diversity, strength and depth of family firms across the UK and seek to highlight the contribution that family firms make to the UK economy.
2019 is the first year we have worked in partnership with Family Business United, the award-winning magazine and resource centre that champions and celebrates the family business sector nationally.
The partnership with FBU delivers even more profile-raising opportunities for our region’s family businesses and the chance to connect with like-minded individuals, as Charlotte said:

Ward Recycling are one of the finalists representing the Midlands, they have had enormous success since taking our Family Business of the Year title last November and only last night did the double again in the Derby Telegraph Business Awards by taking home the title for Employer of the Year and being crowned overall Company of the Year – congratulations Ward!
