The Outstanding Contribution category is jointly sponsored by Thomas Miller Investment and First Actuarial.
This award encourages family businesses to nominate an individual that has made a significant difference to the business over recent years and is open to both family and non-family members, working at all levels of the business.
Award criteria
The individual must be employed by the business since 01 January 2011 and the business must be a family business based in the Midlands.
Judging details
The judging panel will be led by a representative from Nottinghamshire family business Herbert Baggaley Construction, winner of the Outstanding Contribution award in 2011. The five shortlisted businesses will be invited to an informal interview in Plumtree, Nottinghamshire during September.
