It's a simple process to enter the Midlands Family Business Awards.
The first step is to visit the Categories section to find out more about each of the 10 awards and decide which one you would like to enter. You can enter more than one category if you wish - there will be clear information so you can make sure that your business is eligible. For example - the Best Newly Established award is just open to those businesses that were established on or after 01 January 2006.
Secondly, you need to complete the registration form that will give you access to the online nomination forms.
The next step is to complete the online entry form for your chosen category (or categories) and click "submit" to send it through to our judging panel.
Once all the entries have been received, the judges will assess the submissions and decide on a shortlist of five businesses for each category. If your business has been shortlisted, we will call you to invite you to an informal interview with the judging panel for your category. This will take place during September. You can find information on who is judging each category plus the interview dates and venues in the Categories section.
The judges for each category then have the task of whittling down their shortlisted five businesses to two runners-up and a winner, who will be announced at the awards ceremony on 11 November. All shortlisted businesses will be able to purchase tickets for the awards ceremony at cost price.
Entries will remain open until midday on Tuesday 27 July 2010.
