The headline Family Business of the Year award is sponsored by Smith Cooper, leading business advisers and accountants in the Midlands.
The Family Business of the Year category is for established family businesses across all industry sectors that can demonstrate sustained success across a broad range of measures. This award showcases the region's best run family businesses and recognises the achievements of their leaders.
Award criteria
Businesses must have been established for a minimum of 10 years, be family businesses and based in the Midlands.
Judging details
The judging panel will be led by Mark Samworth, director of Leicestershire family business, Samworth Brothers. The five shortlisted businesses will be invited to an informal interview in Nottingham to take place on Monday 10 September.
