This award recognises the large numbers of smaller family businesses that contribute to the Midlands economy.
Open to family businesses with a turnover of up to £5million, this award is for the smaller family-owned company that can demonstrate success across a broad range of measures.
Award criteria
Businesses must be family businesses, be based in the Midlands and have a turnover of £5 million or less at the end of their last financial year.
Judging details
The judging panel will be led by Trevor Fletcher, managing director of Nottinghamshire family business the Hardstaff Group, and winner of the Business Innovation category in 2011. The five shortlisted businesses will be invited to an informal interview in Birmingham during September.
